Alberta updated the inventory and held four draws under the AAIP

On April 25, 2025, Alberta released an update regarding the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) and the results of its recent immigration draws. According to the new update, there were 3,324 applications to be processed and 3,147 nomination spaces remaining for 2025. The number of expressions of interest for all streams or pathways in the selection pool was 55,033. Оn April 11, 2025, Alberta held a new invitation round in the Alberta Opportunity Stream and issued 108 invitations with a minimum score of 77. Additionally, Оn April 15, the province invited 33 Tourism and Hospitality Stream candidates who scored 73 points or more. The next draw was held on April 17 and was dedicated to the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway, which issued two invitations to candidates who scored just 49 points. Finally, 22 professionals with a minimum score of 71 were invited under the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Accelerated Tech Pathway on the April 22 draw. So far, Alberta has invited 830 candidates through the AAIP streams this year.
