The Federal Government has revealed plans to introduce a new immigration pathway for workers in Canada in TEER 4 and 5 occupations. The new pathway aims to meet the labour market needs by allowing businesses to attract and retain TEER 4 and 5 workers. It is expected to have similarities with the Canadian Experience Class program, focusing on those with one year of full-time Canadian work experience.
