IRCC held the second occupation-specific Express Entry draw for skilled trades candidates

On December 19, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the second occupation-specific Express Entry draw and issued 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates working in one of the skilled trades occupations. In round #276, the cut-off score was 425, 37 points more than the previous draw for this category-based selection. The tie-breaking rule for this round was November 04, 2023, at 11:16:58 UTC. As of December 17, 2023, there were 208,638 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, Canada issued 109,196 ITAs through the Express Entry draws.
