US temporary foreign workers in Canada show a significant decline from 2010 to 2023

Statistics Canada's latest report reveals a notable downward trend in the number of US citizens working temporarily in Canada, dropping from 61,698 in 2010 to 38,867 in 2023. Conversely, work permits for US non-citizen residents have surged, rising from 3,728 to 17,353 during the same period.
